Care for an Underserved Community

Over three days in Madi Municipality, a team of two dentists, four hygienists, and support assistants served nearly 400 patients from Tharu, Brahmin, and other local communities.

The team provided over 200 deep cleanings, approximately 80–90 extractions, more than 100 fillings, and one-on-one oral health counseling for every patient. These services relieved pain, preserved teeth, and equipped families with practical knowledge to use at home.

Building Trust Through Service

The camp initially faced close official scrutiny because it was held on church property. However, after local officials visited and saw the team serving people of all backgrounds with equal care and professionalism, skepticism turned to commendation.

Community leaders even requested that the team return with expanded services for women and children—a clear sign that practical care had opened the door to lasting trust.

A Wider Ministry Presence

Alongside the clinic, Reach Nepal supported an evening outreach program attended by up to 60 community members and guests. The entire effort was coordinated in partnership with the Nepal Section and local church leaders.
